Republican Club of Martin County Welcomes Racist Speaker

Martin County Democrats

Republican Club of Martin County Welcomes Racist Hate-Monger

According to The Stuart News, the Republican Club of Martin County hosted an "anti-terrorist" who appears to be accusing Democrats and Islamists of trying to bring about the "Death of America". While certainly protected by our belief in free speech, this kind of inflammatory rhetoric is beyond the pale of sane thinking and brings nothing but disgrace to the Republican Party of Martin County.

The group welcomed by the Republicans is extolling the upcoming visit of a Dutch far-right politician, who by admission on their own website has been "sued for inciting racial hatred for a speech", "facing trial in the Netherlands for inciting hatred and discrimination" and "Immigration officials in the UK" refused his admittance.

We call on all rational Republicans in Martin County to denounce this overt case of racist anti-American fear-mongering and join Martin County Democrats in embracing tolerance and forbearance toward all reasonable persons. It is time to take your party back from these radical extremists.

Republicans warned of 'radical Islamists' by Lake Worth-based Florida Security Council

STUART -
The United States faces threats from "radical Islamists" and "radical Democrats" are hoping to reshape the nation in a manner that contradicts its traditional values, an anti-terrorism advocate told Republicans lunching Thursday in Chantal's Café on Airport Road.

And the public must act to preserve their way of life, said the executive director of the Lake Worth-based Florida Security Council, which aims to educate the public about "radical Islam" and other alleged security threats to Florida.

"If something does not change, you, in your lifetime, will experience the death of America," Palm Beach County resident Tom Trento, of Palm Beach County, told about 65 members of the Republican Club of Martin County.

Trento defined radical Islamists as Muslims who want to integrate political and religious ideologies and use them to usurp the nation's government or other world governments. Trento said not all Muslims are radical Islamists, but those who are have waged outright war in the Middle East and "soft" war and sedition in the United States.

The Florida Security Council is an educational organization with a primary mission to strengthen Florida's security through issue research, public policy education and grassroots activism, according to its web site, floridasecuritycouncil.org.

Did this paranoid loon pass out tin foil hats as well? Making comments like this, demonizing the other party, is less than useful in a time that Americans should work together and not run around like chicken little making useless comments. Is this the best the club could do? Captain Obvious strikes again . . .Pathetic . . .

Those on the left are more than willing to turn their heads and look the other direction. There was a time when I was more than willing to stand up and defend this county against all who wanted to destroy it. Now, I'm not so sure its worth it.

The website is scary. He calls this an education organization? No, hatemonger would be a better description.

If the USA keeps bombing, invading, occupying, and torturing people around the world, from Iraq to Afghanistan to Pakistan, and soon to be bombed Iran, and Syria, then , yes, there might be a problem with "radical Islamists".

How much more should the good people of these nations take from the USA?

The US indiscriminately murders thousands of people around the world yearly, all in the name of fighting the war on terror, and they expect no response?

The real crime is that Obama is picking up where Bush left off, and the Neocons like Palm Beach County resident Tom Trento of the Lake Worth based Florida Security Council, are trying to dare the Democrats to be more war-hawkish than the last administration was, if that is possible.

Obama is killing more people in Afghanistan and Pakistan than Bush did, and his new favorite tool is the Predator Drones and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)....http://topics.nytimes.com/top/referen...

Tolerance and Forbearance

Lincoln said it best when he suggested "With malice toward none, and charity toward all."

That's a sentiment that any American Republican or Democrat can be proud to endorse. How far has the Republican Party come since that honorable man offered that noble guidance?

While President Lincoln was undoubtedly referring to the appropriate course to bind the nations wounds. He concludes that paragraph in his second Inaugural with these equally important words, which suggest that these guidelines were to be understood in the broadest possible context; "to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations."

Whenever I'm offered a warning that everyone, of some religious conviction, or nationality, or race, or political theology are America's Implacable foes, dedicated wholly and completely to the destruction of our way of live, I check and see what the speaker is really selling. My experience shows that generally, there is a strong smell they are trying to conceal with the delicate perfume of hate. Not honest hate, but that special blend, wrapped tightly in a pseudo-superiority and faux patriotism.

The real curiosity, is that when ever somebody tries to sell that old stinking fish, that they are all out to get us, It is usually in defense of "AMERICANISM" that these warnings are shared. How long can they misunderstand the founding principles of this great unfinished experiment? Only by honest ignorance of our history can such foolishness be propagated. The persecuted Pilgrims, Huguenots, Catholics, Irish, Jews, landless Serfs from the steppes all sought refuge here. Persecuted in their homelands yet tolerated here. If the natives of this generous land, had not welcomed the driftwood from Europe as they starved on the beaches, what European foot hold would there be in this land?

why dont you curl up in a nice cozy cave with your boyfriend osama bin laden and "extremely pacify" eachother?

hate America so much? stick your "binky" back in your mouth and shut up.

go the hell back to whatever sorry country you come from.

After reading what Liptinchin wrote I have to comment.

Comments like yours sound so much like the fear mongering fools and idiots of the KKK and the far radical right. You should understand that the only people that are from here are the Native Americans, all others are immigrants, including you and me.

I am not a pacifist, I carry a gun for protection, and I still respect the rights of all in this country to have their own opinion, including you.

So to Liptinchin I say go back to where your family comes from, or learn to respect other peoples opinions, religions, race, heritage, origin, etc...

Well said Nozmo.

None of this is about Islam, it's about creating a bearded straw man, painting Democrat on it and burning it on someone's lawn. Anyone who won't dance around it like an idiot must be a traitor, right?

It's about inciting the miscreant offspring of ignorant people who were thrown out of their miserable and squalid homelands by the millions to support the same the process here, and the objective isn't to protect this, my country, from any enemy, but to allow the cowardly, ugly and dangerously deranged to surf back into power on the wave of ignorant, bigoted and murderous rage they create for the purpose.

They'd be happy to bring back the Inquisition, and they've come close in some respects, if it furthered the hate-based fascist theocracy they long for. That the first people to be thrown into the flames would be these same bellicose anthropoids we see dancing around the bonfire of their reeking vanities, shrieking like chimps and flinging their own feces tempts me to wish their puppet masters could return, but I love my country too much to want to hear the goosestepping boots and the mob, howling for blood. These are the same kind of people so many of my father's generation died fighting against. It's sad to see the cancer growing back and in our own country.

Yes, I pack heat in this town too and it's not for fear of being robbed and it's not for fear of one of the decent, hard working and patriotic Muslims living here either. It's about the church on Sunday, lynch mob on Monday, God on the money, we don't need no education, bogeyman under the bed vermin who insult my country by calling themselves Americans.

If you can't open your eyes and see the radical changes that are taking place in this country, maybe you need to apply a warm rag to your eyes to remove the democratic funk. America is under attack from not only the far left pansy pacifists, but from Islam. The clear idea of the Muslims is to implement Sharia Law wherever they can. If you haven't noticed, we (the U.S.) are already majority owned by China and several other nations in the Middle East. This country will soon be the laughing stock of the world. Obama is well on track to make this statement a truth.

nozmo, I am not an immigrant. I was born here only that I can't claim tax exempt status like many Indians or Native Americans if you prefer the pc version.

By getting stuck on the "fear mongering" concept, you ignore legitimate threats by writing them off to the KKK or others...(is the KKK still around?)

Look at what is happening in Britain and Holland and you can see where we are headed.

Ah, another case of Fox poisoning! I guess I should have known this wasn't going to be a Mensa meeting, but I didn't expect a flock of yellow Fox-Fried Chickens cackling about the sky falling and calling it bravery.

No he isn't, no he's not, you have nothing but political propaganda and fear behind your argument and for a guy calling himself after a piece of fruit to call anyone a pansy for not wetting his pants over the bearded bogeyman would make anyone but a ridiculous Fox-addled, ranting, paranoid coward laugh. The only assault against the constitution, liberty and justice has been from the Bush/Cheney administration and he only thing this country has to fear or ever will, is the smug stupidity and the fury of its most ignorant citizens.

I'm a "far left" pansy because I'm not afraid? There is no left and right to sanity or courage or honesty. Explain that one please professor. Maybe you can find someone who speaks English to interpret for you because you don't seem to know what half your words actually mean when you fling them around like a monkey throwing dung from its cage.

Our country was, in fact, the laughing stock of the world when we had that lying gnat-brained Napoleon wannabe drugstore cowboy as president. Our country did see the biggest attack on personal liberty in 200 years, but those changes don't scare the Grapefruit man, so long as they don't let the darker people near him, do they?

Of course there's still plenty of laughter here and abroad involving hysterical hate-it-alls and the crusade to substitute the Bible for the Constitution -- and keep the fluoride from sapping our precious bodily fluids. You know, the Jihad supported by the same folks who think the Chinese are Muslims and are terrified that some Detroit cabdriver or Mohammed Ali or Ali Velshi or Salmon Rushdie is going to blow up your trailer before taking over the government and stealin' the wimminfolks and raisin' the taxes on your second million of earned income.
Tell me -- just who is the pansy, cowering in ignorant fear here, ol' grapefruit smoothie?

Changes? What changes? More fair and balanced paranoia from Slimey Sean or Lyin' Bill to rile up the rabble and get them to vote away their liberty and restore the people who bankrupted us, more likely.

LOL, well, here we go again. Let's not forget the radical Christians who want to change everything to suit their agenda too. They are as bad as radical Islamists, but some of us are too biased/racist to see that. As far as President Obama goes, give him a chance. At least he is doing something which is more than has been seen during the last eight years. And Virginian, maybe there needs to be some changes in this country..... immigration and irresponsible free speech are a couple to start with. Free speech is wonderful and has to be part of our system, but we should at least demand it be RESPONSIBLE! Oh wow, what a thought.... people responsible for their own actions. What a radical new (and unpopular) idea. Just think, such a philosophy might change our schools, etc.

Posted by Virginian on April 10, 2009 at 8:16 p.m.
I don't know of any radical Christian president who wanted to change what our country stands for...certainly not socialism, which is where we're heading. Give Obama a chance? Well, he doesn't seem to have an answer for anything, no comments about the piracy, so far. The man does not know what he is doing. He is surrounded by crooks and liars in his administration. We all know who they are. He wants to befriend our enemies. It's very scary to think there are people like you who can't see this. Obviously, you don't care enough about this country.

Posted by Capt_Fogg on April 11, 2009 at 10:36 a.m.
I don't know of any radical Christian president who wanted to change what our country stands for either, but then neither does Obama. If he's a socialist because he suggests putting the top tax bracket up three points to below where it was under most Republican presidents ( it was over 85% under Eisenhower ) then Eisenhower was a Socialist. He's no more of a Marxist than George Bush and people throwing those words around have no clue as to what they mean, much less a sound knowledge of history and political science and economics. Everybody's a genius when they watch Fox News, right?

You know, just because you think there's something others don't see, doesn't mean there's anything there. Wants to befriend our enemies? What do you mean -- that he isn't stomping around like Godzilla calling everyone evil? Well then I guess Eisenhower has him beat on that one -- and Reagan for that matter.

The problem here is the bizarre interpretations put on ordinary matters by the Anti-American News network that backed every single thing that has put us in the mess we are in now and would love to keep doing so.

It's you who are looking for a king to solve all our problems, not Obama's supporters. It's you who equates his lack of Godlike omniscience and omnipotence with all these idiotic criticisms. That your hate stems from something other than objective reality is as obvious as if it were illuminated by neon lights and lets have enough of this self righteous business about anyone who thinks differently -- no matter how much smarter and better informed they may be -- hates America.
